Expressive Arts Private Session
EXPRESSIVE ARTS PRIVATE SESSIONS
Are you ready to express yourself? I am here to accompany you on this creative journey of self-exploration, rejuvenation, and celebration.
WHO AM I?
I am Jean Voice Dart, MS, CATP, Expressive Arts Therapist, a certified expressive arts therapy practitioner, certified coach, and credentialed teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in music therapy and a master's degree in special education, with a minor in psychology. I work with visual art, music, dance and movement, dramatic arts, and creative writing, witnessing a lifetime of miraculous transformation with the creative arts. I have assisted hundreds of "Courageous, Creative Conquerors" privately and in group settings.
People working with me courageously use the expressive arts to feel, reveal, and heal by identifying buried emotions and rediscovering abandoned or neglected pathways to healing. Using specific creative arts experiences and activities, I assist others in accessing their creative imagination, embracing their unique positive power, and transforming their lives to discover joy. We have fun and get it DONE!
WHAT TO EXPECT
1. Arrive in a safe, comfortable space. If you want to share, be prepared to chat about your current situation, blocks, hopes, and dreams. You may speak very little and express your feelings silently through the arts (music, movement, writing, etc.). You are in control.
2. Before arriving, be open to exploring an expressive art medium or multiple immersive art mediums (e.g., singing, writing, drawing, playing a musical instrument, painting, continuous movement or dance, theatrical storytelling, public speaking, needlework, beading, craft making, home decorating, cooking or cake decorating, nail art, etc.).
3. We can create collaboratively in silence, in a state of creative reflection and expression, and share afterward. You might choose to do this with your eyes closed to connect to divine guidance or to tap into a higher consciousness. Some prefer that I be a more active observer of their creative expression and that we chat during the process. I will support you and work with you during the process.
4. You do not need to be an accomplished creative arts performer or bring musical instruments or art equipment, but you may do so if you wish. Consider simple basic supplies, such as moving your body, creating sound with your voice or hands, or writing or drawing with a pen and paper.
5. Arrive with courage and an open mind. Sessions can be incredibly transformative, uplifting, empowering, and insightful as we explore and release feelings through the arts and open ourselves to limitless possibilities using positive imagery. Sessions can also be emotional if a client discovers an abandoned memory through the arts. I will work closely with you during this process. You have the freedom to decide how to navigate through this.
I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU!
Please register here for the class or contact me by message. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. If you prefer to attend a group session first, you can attend my "Creative Community Call" live sessions every Tuesday at 3 p.m. Pacific Time. If the times here are not convenient for you, please message me. I will do my best to arrange my schedule to meet your needs. Your success is important to me.
