SE: Awaken Your Fearless Heart
Caring--something we seem hard-wired to do--can be difficult because it asks for control, which inspires us and stresses us out at the same time! There is so much to send our care to--work, family, health and wellbeing, community, world causes, the list is endless. And it all requires courage and equanimity.
As humans we can't not care--it's in our DNA! The challenge is to find a way to care with serene joy. To find balance between caring and minimizing the stress is a real journey for all of us.
By honoring our deepest desire to be in communion with others--valuing connection over control--we can fill our hearts with courage, and in this way, joy is found and emerges in abundance. By caring without struggling and striving we can find our way to true freedom in heart, body, mind, and soul--living in our own beautiful essence.
Since we can't not care and yet caring is weighing us down, we need to find a way to strike a balance: learning how to love and care without caring ourselves into the ground. Replacing fear with joy.
