When life circumstances seem chaotic, the idea of going with the flow can be a difficult one to embrace. Sometimes, the Universe delivers events or conditions that lead us to question what we are doing or why we are even on a particular path, and we may find ourselves feeling angry or frustrated—perhaps even to the point where we actively fight against our situation. On some level we know that the resistance is futile, but our ever-so-helpful ego-minds continue to strive against these external events, in some vain hope of gaining control! When we are challenged by unpleasant or even painful external circumstances, we may have no idea how to return to the beautiful and peaceful flow state that we all seem to enjoy so much. Well, in this episode of Life Mastery TV, we are going to consider some options for helping us to regain our state of acceptance and flow. To help me in this task, I’ve invited a gifted retreat planner, Tamara Golden, to join me. As someone who has gone through her own challenges in dealing with the chaos of life, Tamara knows how to create beautiful healing spaces and has a lot of ideas for reconnecting to the gentle flow of life. In this episode, we’ll talk about: * “Fight or Flight” Triggers * Change as a Teacher * The Gift of Acceptance * Trusting in the Flow Come join us for an uplifting conversation about moving "From Fight to Flow".
Sovereignty is a natural born right to freedom and self-determination. Unfortunately, what commonly happens to most of us in the first few years of our lives is a process of “education” that actually undermines the sovereignty that we are born with. This process begins with our parents and caregivers, and then becomes the domain of our teachers, ministers, law enforcement officials, government leaders, and other “experts” and “authorities” who claim to know more than we do. Because we care about our family, friends and communities, most of us work hard to fit in with society, to avoid making waves, and to just get along—for the greater good. And then, years later, many of us wake up to the fact that we don’t really know who we are or why we are here, and we become disillusioned or resentful about our lives. Clearly, sacrificing our true nature in order to live up to externally established standards doesn’t serve us in the long run. While it’s important for all of us to adhere to the laws of the land and honor the boundaries of our fellow humans, there is no reason for us to lose our true selves in the process. We owe it to ourselves to reclaim our birthright and step fully into our sovereignty. For this week’s episode of Life Mastery TV, I have invited a true Kung Fu priest, Accolon Hollingsworth, to join me. Accolon has studied the way of Kung Fu, and has brought the discipline of this martial art into the realm of spirituality. And the timing couldn’t be better—for most of us can use a little more discipline as we challenge ourselves to step fully into our magnificent sovereign nature! Here are some of the topics we’ll be covering: * Stress & Anxiety Relief * Self-Mastery * Inner Invincibility * Soul Sovereignty Please join us for the live event, and get your dose of Spiritual Kung Fu!
As children and young adults, most of us adopted or developed a set of unconscious beliefs, stories, filters, and even inner hiding places which helped us to navigate through and feel safe within our world. As adults, seeking balance within our Selves and in our relationships, these “obsolete programs” can actually take us away from what we want. For this episode of Soul Empowerment, David is joined by two wonderful guest hosts: Kristi Borst and Sara Jane. In this conversation, we will touch upon: * Unconscious beliefs, stories, ancestral programs: We all know the story of our own life, the experiences we have had and the things that we have witnessed, that have framed who we are, how we behave and react. * Coping mechanisms, learned behaviors, patterns: Some of our experiences have caused us hurt and pain both physically and emotionally. From these experiences we have developed self-preservation mechanisms to protect us from further hut and pain. * Myth busting and illuminating our Truths: As we grow and mature, we can find ourselves automatically reverting to these old behaviours that don’t serve any purpose anymore. We will explore how you can become aware of them and understand where they came from and how you may be able to work through them and let them go. * Embracing and exploiting the trigger, as a gateway to more/better: Triggers are those words and/or actions that awaken the learned protective behaviours within us. Once we become aware of what they are, we can explore ways to use them to our advantage to grow and cause less stress in our lives. Some people feel lost, stuck, or unhappy because of doing such a good job of hiding/coping/blending/etc. We cannot change what we do not see; so awareness is a huge aspect of Soul Empowerment. Join us for the live presentation; we’ll share what we have found, hidden in plain sight.
Science in general, and medicine in particular, have made remarkable strides in the past 100 years. The number of diseases we have eliminated is staggering, and this is to be celebrated. But a side-effect of this advancement is that we have collectively become dependent on medications and drugs for even the most minor of discomforts, and many people would classify this dependence as a form of addiction. While the presence of symptoms can help with a diagnosis, many doctors and healing practitioners these days tend to rely almost totally on symptoms, and stop well short of examining root causes to try and deal with the real source of the ailment. Consequently, the treatment may alleviate the symptoms, but often does nothing to provide an actual cure. Perhaps it is time for a new pathway to healing. Given that most medicines and drugs of today are derived from treatments that can be traced back to herbs and flowers and other plants, it makes sense for us to consider the foods we eat in a new way. My guest for the upcoming episode of Life Mastery TV, Karie Cassell, has been a dietician for 30 years, and she believes she has one answer that can be a game-changer for everyone, and she is going to share some of her wisdom on this subject. Here’s what’s on the menu: * The Domino Diet Formula * Body Renewal * Hormones First, Feelings Second. * Balance Your Tires! Come join us as we "put the 'Heal' back in health"!
Private Embers Breakfast Meeting
It has been well over a year now since the announcement of the global pandemic that has turned everything around for most people on the planet. The transformation that has taken place is something that most people would never have expected to happen, and yet…here we are! Even with easing restrictions, social distancing and other measures have created a situation in which many people in many countries around the world find themselves working from home almost all the time. Most of us spend many hours per day in front of a computer screen, and most of our business meetings are conducted on various video conferencing platforms. We no longer have the luxury of meeting our workmates in person, and getting out of the house to a separate business environment is quickly becoming a thing of the past. The situation has created a great deal of stress, which affects us all in one way or another, so for this episode of Life Mastery TV, I’ve invited my good friend Chris Kyle back to the show to share some of his deep wisdom on the subject. As always, we’ll look for ways to have fun as we discuss some important topics: * Establishing a Routine * Creating Priorities and Intentions * Connecting with Nature * Meditation/Exercise * The Unplug Principle Please join us for another uplifting and entertaining live presentation of Life Mastery TV!
We all have to deal with the ups and downs, the pleasures and pains, the weeds and the flowers of life. Can you think of anyone in history who made it through life unscathed? Pain and suffering seem to be a part of the process we all go through, but they are not the ONLY part. There is also much joy and pleasure and happiness in life too—and often the pain helps us to appreciate the good things even more. But because life appears kind of chaotic, it can seem like a jungle to the casual observer—and indeed, when chaos leads to fear and pain and suffering, we may imagine that the creatures of the jungle are out to get us. What we must remember is that within every jungle, there is a garden—a place of love and compassion where we can heal our wounds and ease our pain. Compassion is a friendly presence that allows us to stay in contact with the pain we feel from time to time by simply doing life. By taking action with compassion, we can surrender into our pain—pain that we either caused or was handed to us—so that we can stay in this and learn...instead of hiding, denying or excusing. Our “garden in the jungle” is the Compassion that allows us to heal! Using compassion as a tool to counter our felt pain cultivates a deeper fertile life soil that tends to our whole selves in the context of our lives! * Learn how to tend to your heart and its real and perceived pain by staying focused on the gifts that exist beyond it; * Bring compassion into your essence in order to tenderly include all of you in the present moment; * Do the inner work of understanding and using compassion as an action-focused energy to support your growth and self-expression; * Open your heart and awaken your soul so you grow and expand your capabilities for full living. Come join us for the live presentation and get your fill of Compassion!
Throughout our lives, we all face occasional challenges, difficulties, obstacles, blockages, and other things that seem to get in our way and slow down or even stop our progress. This can be quite frustrating. As you've surely noticed yourself, the more we want something, the greater the level of frustration we experience when something seems to be preventing us from getting it. If the level of frustration gets high enough, then we find ourselves focusing so much attention on the "problem" that we lose sight of the objective, and soon enough we begin to berate and criticize ourselves for being a "failure". For this episode of Life Mastery TV, I've invited back my good friend and colleague, Linda Shively, to help shed some light on this phenomenon. Together, we'll unravel this and get down to the root cause of the real problem. And because Linda is the "Queen of Joy", we'll surely find a way to have some fun with it as well! Here are some of the things we'll be discussing: - Problem or Opportunity? - The Downside of Beliefs - Information Overload - Discovering the Gift Come join us for another lively, entertaining, and highly educational episode of Life Mastery TV.
Most people are okay with the idea of “self-love”, but the moment they hear the phrase “in love with yourself”, thoughts often to turn to visions of egotism or narcissism. This is unfortunate, because if you think about it for a minute, there is really nothing wrong with being “in love with yourself”. It just means that you have come to a place where you recognize that you are a person who is worthy of love, and that you are entitled to love yourself. But also, given that—in the universal sense of oneness—you actually are love, then how can you be anything but “in love…with yourself”? In this episode of Life Mastery TV, we are going to dive into this topic in a new way, and we’re going to use some pretty common life situations to help us all fall in love with ourselves, over and over again. By doing so, we will be strengthening our ability to unconditionally love all aspects of ourselves, to honor and revere all of our gifts, and to forgive ourselves for our so-called weaknesses. My guest for this episode has a lot of experience helping people to heal energy and clear space—with a focus on relieving stress among people who have sensitive souls. (And really, who doesn’t have a sensitive soul?) Caroline Perez will share her wisdom on how to navigate life with ease and peace—so that we get inspired and fall in love with ourselves! We will discuss the following and a lot more: * Healthy vs Unhealthy Self-Love * Disconnecting from Self-Love * Personal Energy Clearing * Environmental Energy Clearing * Soul Sensitivity Please join us for the live presentation and clear your energy so you can truly fall in love with yourself!
For some people, finding a life purpose can seem like finding a needle in a haystack—and sometimes, that needle can be exceedingly difficult to locate, especially when there are so many haystacks to examine! But when you finally find what you are looking for, the sense of accomplishment is usually pretty exhilarating. Not only that, but once you know your Life Purpose, everything about life takes on a whole new dimension and meaning. My guest for this episode, Diane Achatz, went through a challenging time in her life that motivated her to become an expert about Diabetes. Hers is an inspiring story that led to the discovery of her own Life Purpose, she is definitely going to inspire you to become more connected and aligned with your Life Purpose. We are going to look this topic from a lot of different angles, including: * Following the Wound * Finding Inspiration * From WTF to AHA! * The Power of Purpose Please come join us for the live presentation—it’s going to be a LOT of fun!
When the word “accountability” is spoken, most people immediately think of shame and blame. This is not terribly surprising, given the way the term is used in most public discourse these days. But this was not the original intention of the word; indeed, its original usage was intended to provide an opportunity for someone to give a factual account of circumstances and events—without any hidden intention of finding fault or assigning blame. In this episode of Soul Empowerment, we hope to inspire you to use a different form of accountability—what we are calling self-accountability—as a tool to help you keep yourself aligned with who you really are and why you are here. So make a point to join the Soul Empowerment team and renew your relationship with what it means to apply accountability to your all aspects of your life. At its core accountability is a life growth tool to help us understand what’s behind and within us (our shadows) when we don’t complete or follow through with our intended agreements and commitments with others and ourselves. Learning to use this tool with compassion and love instead of shame and blame will help you uncover, heal and integrate aspects of your shadow self that emerge from old beliefs and patterns that potentially stop you from deeper growth in your life. Here are some of the takeaways you can expect: * What self-accountability is and is not * The true purpose self-accountability and how to integrate it into your life. * Witness a real accountability process to help you understand and apply what you learned in your journey of agreements. * Leave with a renewed sense of how to use accountability as a tool for greater life mastery. Come join us for the live presentation!
