My personal experience motivated me to develop Yoga Tarana. I was affected by trauma early in life and I have experienced healing and reintegration using meditation, physical practice and breath. I've used my own experience to create integrated training modalities that are trauma aware, and trauma responsive. For the past six years my joy and my passion has been helping others to heal and grow using meditation and the physical practices of yoga. Yoga is an effective therapy for trauma recovery, helping people heal the disconnection to self (alexithemia) and reconnect to their 'felt sense' (proprioception, interoception). The connections are often shut down by repetitive trauma as a defense mechanism. These pathways need to be reconnected so that people can live successful lives.
