The spiritual realm, by its very nature, is a challenge for us to comprehend from our physical perspective. We find that our senses--sight, sound, smell, taste and touch--provide limited information about spirituality, and we try to use the logical and linear power of our brains to help us figure things out. But while this power can help to expand our understanding, most of us find that we have more questions than answers! And that is because beyond the physical we have what ancient spiritual teachers have referred to as "The Ether"--which has been summarily dismissed by mechanistic science, but which keep insisting on demanding our attention! Well, what is "The Ether" anyway, if not a kind of energy that is infused with consciousness? We all seem to know this intuitively, and our non-linear brain works hard to keep this knowing in our awareness. But it still poses challenges for us because we try to articulate this awareness through the limited language of our logical left brain. This week, I've invited back the amazing Harry Sherwood to help us deepen our understanding of "The Ether" and to look at the elements that make it up. Please join us as we discuss all of the following and a lot more: * The Ether * Consciousness Infusion * The Expansive Experience * The Dance Join us for this deep dive into Spiritual Flow--it's going to be awesome!
I'm sure you've noticed that Our world is in need of healing right now. The problem is that many of us fall into the class of people commonly referred to as the silent majority. Perhaps you are one of those people. There are many reasons you may choose to remain silent; here are a few possibilities: * You are just not aware of the problems, or imagine that they will take care of themselves; * You are so overwhelmed with the demands of life that you have little time to spare for idealistic pursuits; * You may believe that your ideas have no merit, or perhaps you just don't see how you can make a difference; * You are afraid to speak up and rock the boat. If any of these scenarios describe what you might be experiencing (and even if you don't resonate with any of them), then I have good news for you. I've invited my good friend and writer extraordinaire, Laura Di Franco, to return to Life Mastery TV and share some of her "badass" wisdom around bringing your voice to the world. Here's a sampling of what we plan to discuss: * The Voice of Healing * The Inadequacy Lie * Action is Key * The Truth about Courage Come join us for the live presentation and learn how to share your amazing voice for the entire world to hear!
Have you noticed that we seem to have a love-hate relationship with Transformation? On the one hand, we all seem to want to grow into the best possible versions of ourselves, and we engage in all kinds of processes, activities, workshops, and seminars to make that happen. On the other hand, we all seem to have a basic fear of change--not so much because we fear the change itself, but rather because we don't know for sure what the change will bring, and we tend to fear the unknown. This awareness leads us to a couple of key questions. How can we minimize this fear and foster our own growth? How can we empower and encourage an uplifting and exciting form of transformation in our lives that moves us closer to the fulfillment of our dreams? No matter how we answer these questions, it seems we will make the journey a lot easier if we can bring more Compassion into the picture. For this reason, I've invited my friend and colleague, Jo Ann Wenner to join us--with her extensive background with Compassion and Transformation, she will be a perfect addition to the program! We'll touch on all the following topics, and a lot more besides: * What is Compassion? * Ingredients for a Successful Practice * Benefits of Loving Compassion * The Inner Compass Please join us for the live presentation and learn how to use Compassion to empower transformation in your life.
From a young age, people in the world today seem to be conditioned to engage exclusively in rational, intellectual, left-brain, logical, scientific, and sequential thinking. The concept of spirituality is widely minimized (and sometimes scorned or disparaged) to the point where we have a general disconnect from our true nature as boundless, creative beings. As a result, intuition gets a bad rap, and many of us are actively discouraged from listening to the voice within. If we look at the world we have created from this one-sided approach, we can see that the imbalance is leading us into some unpleasant territory. To reverse this trajectory and heal the damage, we need to re-connect to our spiritual essence and find our way back to the powerful intuition that we have forgotten about. For this week's episode of Life Mastery TV, I've invited a gifted intuitive healer, Jenny Hughes, to share her wisdom and facilitate a transition to Your Secret Superpower, Intuition. We'll be discussing all of the following, and a lot more: * Limits of Logic * Negative Bias * The Subconscious Robot * The Inner Sanctuary Please join us for this conversation and bring your desire to reconnect to your own internal superpower!
Sexual abuse is a serious problem in our world today--far more common than people tend to believe. A big reason for our lack of awareness has to do with the fact that many victims of sexual abuse are afraid to come forward because of threats of reprisal, ridicule, shame, or disbelief. The recent disclosures of major sex scandals and the related #MeToo movement have done a lot to shed light on the extent of this problem, but there is still much to be done to solve it. In the meantime, victims of this kind of abuse need to be held in a space of healing love so that they can not only survive their trauma, but find ways to thrive in their lives going forward. For this episode of Life Mastery TV, I've invited a Sexual Abuse Recovery Coach, Rachel Grant, to join us and share some vital information to help people overcome emotional blocks and surge ahead into fulfillment. Please join us, and find out about the following: - The Abuse Journey - Science Background - How Thoughts Get in the Way - Healing and Advancing Come for the live presentation and share your perspective!
When it comes to calming the mind, a lot of people get hung up on the idea of surrendering their conscious mind. There seems to be a widely held fear that this kind of surrender leads to a loss of sovereignty or self-empowerment--which is actually the opposite of what happens. What people don't seem to understand is that when you surrender the conscious mind--also known as the "ego-mind"--what you are actually doing is releasing its fear-based hold on yourself and thus allowing a greater communion with your true essence--which is where your true power resides. This is such an important concept that I've decided to devote an entire conversation to it. So, for the next episode of Life Mastery TV, I have invited a widely regarded author, speaker and spiritual teacher, Ross Bishop, to share some of his shamanic wisdom on this subject. Here are some of the ideas we'll be discussing: * Unconscious Commitment to Ego * Our Deepest Fear * Understanding Attachment * Taking the Risk This is going to be another heart-opening conversation that will really help you to enhance your journey to Life Mastery. Please make the commitment to join us for the live presentation!
Have you ever found yourself holding onto something? I'm not talking about possessions or anything physical, here. I'm talking about the internal stuff that we all seem to have difficulty releasing at times. We avoid expressing our feelings because we are afraid of how others might experience us. We avoid sharing our opinions because we don't want to rock the boat or upset others. We avoid asking for help because we don't want to be a burden. The list of things we fiercely hold on to can be pretty long. One of my early teachers once said, "What you repress you get to keep; what you express you get to release." In other words, there is freedom in letting go. And when you are free, then you can begin to thrive. This is such an important idea that I've invited my friend and colleague, Moira Hutchison, to help us integrate it into our lives as a regular practice. Here's what we'll be discussing on the next episode of Life Mastery TV: * What is Inner Peace? * Willingness to Heal * Re-Connecting with You * The Practice of Letting Go This is going to be a lot of fun--and very illuminating as well--so please come join us!
You have a Spiritual Purpose for Being, something big and beautiful and meaningful that is meant to be expressed and manifested through you, and you alone. Furthermore, you already possess all of the skills, qualities, attributes and characteristics you will ever need in order to bring this purpose to reality. If you are like many people, however, you may not really know what this purpose is--although you may be able to feel it inside you trying to find its way into your awareness. It can be a real challenge to uncover and embrace your true purpose, especially when you find yourself resonating with many of the experiences that you have in your life. That's why I have invited a certified Akashic Records Consultant, Maggie Sarfo, to join me for the next episode of Life Mastery TV. Don't worry if you don't know what Akashic Records are--that will become clear during the live presentation. In fact, we'll be talking about all of the following things, and much more: - Importance of Purpose - Self-Leadership - Masculine-Feminine Balance - Guidance from the Akashic Records Mark your calendar and make time to join us for the live presentation--you'll be glad you did!
How many of us spend countless amounts of our time analyzing options, weighing pros and cons, comparing alternatives, and even flipping mental coins, in order to choose what we think we want? And then, how often do we end up with something that is far less satisfying than we initially imagined? Knowing what you want is not a trivial matter. It requires introspection and deep understanding of what is really in your heart. Although your mind may be helpful in articulating the details of what you want, the actual answer won't be found there. You can't just think your way into knowing what you want; rather, you have to feel it. In this episode of Life Mastery TV, I've invited Visionary Coach and Meditation Facilitator Monica Brown to provide some expertise on how to know what you really want. We'll discuss all of the following, and more: - Want or Don't Want? - Clarity is Key - Spiritual Alignment - The Keys to the Kingdom Please join us and participate in the live presentation!
Creativity is a concept that is not easy to define succinctly, but it seems that everyone knows what it is. It is something that we all possess; it is a part of our essential nature. And yet, some people believe that they are not very creative at all. They may have experienced failure or criticism when trying something new, and as a result, decided to protect themselves from the corresponding pain by refusing to try again. No matter what you might believe about your own creativity, the truth is you are far more creative than you can possibly imagine! In this episode of Life Mastery TV, I've invited back my good friend and colleague, Anna Pereira, to inspire us all to reconnect to our creative nature. And even if you are already connected to that energy, we're going to show you how to strengthen that connection and increase the joy in your life. Here are some of the things we plan to discuss: - The Nature of Creativity - Tuning into Creativity - The Magic of Stillness - Benefits of Creativity - Cultivating Your Practice Join us and enrich your life with laughter and joy!
In order to make sense of things in our physical reality, the ego-mind engages some pretty powerful techniques--things like logic, pattern matching and interpretation, for example--that help to make what is fit more snugly into its model of the world. And the ego-mind doesn't much like rebuilding its model of the world, so it will go through a lot of rationalizations, justifications and mental gymnastics, as it were, to fit a square peg into a round hole. In other words, the ego-mind would rather manipulate what is to fit its current model than to have to come up with a whole new model to fit the new data! In other words, the ego-mind--ostensibly, a tool to help us navigate the physical world--applies its filtering to create a story around everything that happens in our world. In this episode of Life Mastery TV, I've invited my friend and colleague, Stephanie Benedetto-Padovani, to discuss this very issue. We're going to be talking about the concept of Acceptance, and how we can use it improve many different aspects of our lives. Please join us while we cover these ideas, and a lot more: - Awareness without Agenda - The Nature of Acceptance - Benefits of Acceptance - Cultivating Acceptance in Your Life
Labels are devices we use to evaluate, assess, categorize and sort pretty much everything that happens in our lives. Most often, these devices are linguistic or semantic in nature, and they can serve a valuable purpose--at least until we forget that they're just models or representations. In the extreme, we become so forgetful that we actually believe our labels are the things they were meant to describe! For example, you might hear a phrase such as "the human brain is x, y and z"--and then, without even thinking about it, you may find yourself expecting everyone with a brain (including yourself) to behave in a way that is consistent with that statement. Yes, a label can be useful, up to a point. But when we forget the fact that we have constructed the label as a representation for the thing, then problems really start to show up. In this episode, David and his guest Sara Jane are going to look at labels from a variety of perspectives, with the intention of reminding ourselves about their limited usefulness. Here are some of the things they are going to talk about: What Exactly Is a Label? How Do You Label Yourself? Where In Your Life to Labels Show Up? How Can We Use Labels Responsibly? Join us for this episode and remember to bring all your questions and comments. The more interactive we can make this, the better!
