LMTV #215: Deprivation No More! (Diane Achatz)
If you have ever been on a diet, then you already have a good sense of the kind of discomfort it can create as you work to eliminate foods that you really like in an effort to get your weight under control or improve your health. And more often than not, people who put so much energy into these diets tend to find that after a period of time they stop working, and then those pounds seem to come back with a vengeance—sometimes even creating a situation where you are heavier and/or unhealthier than you were before you started. For many people, it becomes a cycle that in a very real sense is quite vicious.
Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. For the next episode of Life Mastery TV, I’ve invited back Diane Achatz, a health coach with a deep background in supporting people with diabetes, to share more of her wisdom on getting control of your diet situation—without the discomfort of deprivation! And while this conversation will shed light on some of the major challenges that diabetics have to contend with, I know that the information will be relevant to anyone who is looking to create a healthier life situation. Here’s a glance at what we’ll be discussing:
* What you Really Want
* What/Why am I eating?
* The Diabetic Roller-Coaster
* Avoiding Self-Sabotage
Diabetes doesn’t have to hold you hostage, and there are simple and sustainable lifestyle changes that can be done by everyone. Look ahead: wouldn’t it be great to have better blood sugar control, lower A1C, and enhanced energy? Take advantage of Diane’s powerful tools to help you navigate the diabetes journey.
