I shared my story about witnessing my mother’s struggle with menopause during a snowstorm in Cleveland—a pivotal moment that shaped my mission to ensure other women don’t suffer in silence. Through her challenges, and the stories of countless women I’ve worked with, I became dedicated to creating awareness and empowering women with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive through menopause.
Following my story, I introduced a self-care tool, The Menopause Awareness Self-Assessment, to help you understand how menopause impacts your life. This tool is designed to help you identify the symptoms and changes you may experience during menopause, offering a framework to navigate this transition with confidence and ease.

Witnessing his mother’s struggle with menopause and her untimely passing at the young age of 52 inspired him to dedicate his life to helping women navigate menopause with confidence and grace.
With over 24 years of experience in health and fitness, including nine years specializing in menopause and healthy aging, Tafiq is a licensed partner with the Menopause Experts Group. His mission is to empower one million women with the resources, solutions, and support they need to thrive through menopause.
Outside of his work, Tafiq enjoys the fine and performing arts, spending time with close friends, and sharing life with his spouse of 19 years, Darryl, and their two fur babies, Jasper and Lewie.
