Have you been feeling the teeth-clenching, white-knuckled grip of fear? It's human nature to feel anxious, nervous and frightened when life brings us overwhelming or unexpected challenges. We suddenly want to avoid responsibilities, snuggle up in a blanket, eat comfort foods, or binge-watch our favorite movies.
Fear can even affect our health with panic attacks, numbness, fatigue, trouble sleeping, chronic pain, addictive behaviors, and neglected self-care.

Jean Voice Dart, MS, CATP, Expressive Arts Therapist, has over 45 years of experience as a licensed and registered expressive arts therapist, teacher, and coach and has managed the motherload of fear and anxiety with multiple life traumas such as homelessness, brain injuries, PTSD, social anxiety, deafness, and assault. Despite this, Jean knows how to live with joy. She has shifted from sedating or berating to relating and creating through the expressive arts.
