Almost everyone experiences grief at different points in their lives, a universal condition that transcends culture, age, and background. Yet, despite its inevitability, our culture seems to encourage individuals to endure this emotional turmoil in solitude. The prevailing narrative urges people to bury their feelings deep within, adopting a stoic facade in the face of loss. However, this societal inclination to suppress emotions can be detrimental mental and emotional well-being.
When faced with the agonizing loss of a loved one, the internal turmoil becomes an overwhelming battleground for the mind, soul, and heart. The conflicting emotions are not only difficult to navigate alone but can also extend to those who stand alongside the grieving individual. For those witnessing a friend or loved one in pain, the societal inclination to endorse suffering in silence perpetuates a sense of isolation not only for the griever but also for those who wish to provide support. This conventional wisdom not only hinders the natural process of grieving for the bereaved but also poses a challenge for empathetic allies who seek to offer comfort and understanding during such a delicate and transformative time.
For this episode of Life Mastery TV, I’m delighted to welcome a newcomer to the program. My guest, Susan Lataille, is a Certified Master Grief Coach who has learned the hard way how to deal with profound grief—and it was here own journey through this painful process that led her to find ways to help others deal with their own grieving process through the power of love, compassion, and vulnerable communication. Join us for this powerful discussion as we discuss:
* The Nature of Grief
* Bringing Light to a Taboo Subject

About Susan Lataille
--------------------
Susan Lataille’s intimate understanding of grief is rooted in her own profound loss. Her world was forever altered when her son, a vibrant life taken too soon at twenty-eight, succumbed to Glioblastoma in 2017. Her path to peace and acceptance was not swift but emerged through the courageous act of sharing her story and creating a space for others to do the same in her anthology series, ‘Shining a Light on Grief.’ Today, Susan extends a personal invitation to those navigating loss, offering her wisdom in a new six-week intensive coaching program.
Susan’s quest for knowledge and personal growth has seen her become a Reiki Master, Full Wave Breath Facilitator, Akashic Records Consultant, Certified International Health Coach, and, following her heart’s true calling, a Certified Master Grief Coach and HeartMath® Certified Mentor. Her commitment to continuous learning ensures that she remains at the forefront of service, ready to support her clients with the most compassionate and effective practices.
