Well-being—a subjective expression of how you feel about yourself and your life—is directly related to your experience of fulfillment and satisfaction. The greater your sense of well-being, the more you tend to enjoy life. But not surprisingly, the more you enjoy your life, the greater your sense of well-being. Nurturing these qualities—well-being, fulfillment, and satisfaction—provides you with the inspiration to live even more fully, and also contributes to the way you influence the world around you.
Increased well-being also magnifies your innate sense of joy, which in turn provides you with the necessary resilience to deal with challenges. In fact, the greater your sense of well-being, the more likely you are to anticipate challenges with a sense of excitement rather than dread.
There are many factors that contribute to well-being, and we’re going to discuss many of them during this episode of Life Mastery TV. I’ve invited my friend and colleague, Nancy Stevens, who hosts a monthly show called "Vibrant Well-being" on the Wellness Universe Lounge, to share some of her wisdom on this expansive subject. Here is a sampling of what we plan to cover:
* What is Well-Being?
* Why Does Well-Being Matter?
* The Well-Being Journey
* Self-Appreciation
Well-being is the conscious integration of heart, body, mind, and soul. Everything we think, say, do and feel has an impact on our state of well-being—and vice-versa. If you recognize the fact that you matter in this world, and if you can truly appreciate yourself, you should have no problem making choices that ultimately enhance and improve your well-being.
