Empowering Women: Support & Resiliency for Practitioiners
Has your practice changed?
Have you changed?
Has your clientele changed?
Have your circumstances changed?
Would you benefit from a supportive group of practitioners who are all navigating similar waters?
If you answered YES to any of those questions, then join us Thursday March 18th for our first meeting.
As leaders, we can experience an array of rollercoasters with twists, turns, and loop-de-loops, and the ride can be hard to understand for those who've not been on it. This time and space is set up for WU Women, like you and me, to have a heart-based conversation that supports who we are, where we are in a meaningful way, in a trusted space. For some of us, the struggles are personal, for others they're about businesses, networks, or social circles. Whatever the struggle is that you're facing, show up and share. It's time to recreate the village and take community support to the next level!
In this first meeting, the conversation will begin with the topic of UNCERTAINTY, and the rest will flow from there. (Dates/times of future meetings TBD)

Informazioni aggiuntive
Since this is a support meeting, there are a few ground rules:
1) Be clear in asking for the type of feedback you want. We've all misinterpreted, and we've all been misinterpreted. One way to prevent a great deal of misinterpretations is to be clear in asking for the type of feedback/help/support you want in the moment. Sometimes we need suggestions, sometimes we need networking connections, sometimes we need a witness and a safe space to share our story without feedback or commentary. Whatever it is, please ask for what you want/need. This will greatly reduce any unwanted, "helpy-helperton" advice.
2) Think before you speak. Many of us are guilty of pontificating and going off on a tangent. Please be mindful when you're speaking, especially when it's in response to another person's request.
3) Listen with awareness. When you notice that your mind is stuck on a "solution" for the person who is speaking, redirect your mind back to listening. All too often, we can get stuck on what we want to say or contribute to the point that we're no longer actively engaged in listening to the person who's speaking. Train your mind to listen to everything before offering input or advice.
5) Everyone in the group is to be treated with dignity and respect. We all meet life's challenges uniquely and differently, and it's important to remember that as we're hearing stories that are different from "what I would do..."
