We all know what change is. Change can be stressful, whether it is something you wanted or a situation thrust on you that was not of your choosing. Divorce, the loss of a job or career, a life-threatening illness, the death of someone close to you; these are examples of stressful changes that turn your world upside down.
In the days of COVID, global unrest, market/financial uncertainties, and social/political conflicts, it would be crazy to think that there is any adult alive who is not experiencing the stress that comes along with unexpected, rapid, and unwanted change. We are living in disruptive times. We're all in this.
What we need right now is courage. That's obvious. But it's a different kind of courage than being willing to fight with everyone to get what you want and what you think you need. It's the courage to take a leap into the unknown instead of shrinking away from it. It's the courage to take bold action instead of letting fear paralyze you.
It takes courage to slow down and listen to what the changes you are facing want you to know. It takes courage to respond to change rather than react.
In this 90-minute Workshop, you'll have the opportunity to:
• learn why seeking "safety" from change and adversity will never work to keep you safe
• open your way of seeing change and adversity as your friend instead of your enemy
• embrace the potential inherent in a new beginning and take a courageous leap towards it
You will come away from this Workshop with information and tips that you can put to use to help you feel less victimized and more empowered in your response to life's big changes.
