Everything that happens to us—positive, negative, painful, or pleasurable—has an impact on our holistic nature.
If we are able to process these events in a healthy way, then their energy will tend to move on, leaving us with a somewhat dim recollection of what happened. But if an event is extremely intense or traumatic, and we don’t deal with it in a way to bring about appropriate healing, the energy may actually be trapped in the body—right down to the very cells.
Unfortunately, trapped energy can become toxic, and this can lead to all kinds of negative consequences for us. For example, we may experience a variety of mental or emotional issues, such as anxiety or depression. Or possibly a disease may manifest physically, such as chronic illness or something more debilitating, like diabetes or cancer.
The thing to understand is that regardless of what has happened to us in our lives—and no matter how long ago it may have happened—we have the capability to unlock the memories and associated energy that are trapped within our cells, and thereby do some retroactive healing that can make a huge difference in our lives.
And that is precisely what we are going to discuss in this episode of Soul Empowerment. Join David, Nancy, Krisi and Sara as we examine the memories of our cells, and consider things we can do to deepen our healing. Here are some of the topics we plan to cover:
Awakening Old Memories
The benefits of listening to programs like this is that you can hear from people who have done their own work in a variety of ways. There is a good chance you will learn something that resonates, speaks to you, and supports you to awakening the memories at whatever level they are held within your body.
Listening to the Body
Your body speaks to you, not necessarily in words, but in many different subtle ways. It could be that a part of your body has started to express itself by bringing your attention to pain. There may be meaning in that pain beyond the result of a simple injury.
Listening to the Heart and Mind
Sometimes a deeper truth might be revealed through your heart or mind. If you can learn to listen carefully, you can deepen your awareness of yourself and this can guide you to painful memories that might further lead you to the recognize and understand the “issue in the tissue”.
Unlocking Cellular Memory
Many experiences, particularly those which are intense or traumatic, can leave an indelible imprint deep within your cells. This can even include something that we adults consider minor or simple, but which your inner child may have found severely wounding at the time it happened. As you increase your overall self-awareness, you become more alert to signals from deeper and deeper layers of your body, until you get down to the cellular level, where the toxic energy may be stored. Once you find the source of the toxicity, then you are empowered to heal it.
